Range of procedures

Main procedures

Each procedure is preceded by diagnostics and consultation. The treatment plan is tailored to the condition of the oral cavity and the patient’s needs.

Caries treatment

Diagnosis, cavity preparation and tooth restoration with composite filling. New-generation light-cured materials — aesthetic, durable, colour-matched to natural tooth tissue.

Tooth restoration after treatment

Extensive cavities, restoring chewing function after root canal treatment, restoration on a post-and-core. The decision between an extensive filling and a prosthetic crown is made individually.

Prevention and hygiene

Scaling (removal of supragingival and subgingival calculus), air-polishing, polishing, fluoride treatment. Professional hygiene every 6 months reduces the risk of caries and periodontal disease.

Tooth whitening

In-office whitening (single, intense session) or tray-based (gradual, at home under medical supervision). Safe medically supervised methods — eligibility decided after a check-up and hygiene appointment.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How often should I come in for a check-up?
At least every 6 months. More frequent check-ups for patients with high caries risk, periodontal disease, during orthodontic treatment, or after extensive prosthetic work.
What is fluoride toothpaste, and is it safe?
Fluoride toothpastes contain fluoride compounds that strengthen enamel and protect against caries. The concentrations in adult (1450 ppm) and children’s pastes are safe when used correctly — small amount, do not swallow.
How long does a composite filling last?
Usually 5–10 years. Lifespan depends on the cavity location, filling size, the patient’s hygiene and habits (bruxism, diet). Regular check-ups allow problems to be detected early.
Does caries hurt?
Early caries is most often asymptomatic and detectable only during examination. Pain appears when the cavity reaches deeper layers (dentin) or the pulp. At that point root canal treatment may be needed — which is why regular check-ups matter.
Does whitening damage enamel?
Professional whitening under medical supervision does not damage enamel — agents are formulated to act only on pigments in the dentin. Self-administered whitening without qualification (especially with unauthorised products) can cause sensitivity or damage.
Does NFZ cover composite fillings?
NFZ covers light-cured composite fillings in front teeth and certain side teeth — per the current list of guaranteed services. Full list of reimbursed dental services in the "Reimbursed services" section of the pricing page.
